Clipix
The web tool Clipix allows you to create handy folders to store useful webpages to look at later. You can create folders for individual topics - for example, history or science - or even create a folder for all those cool shoes you have seen online! You won’t forget where you saw that important fact or article and have to spend time searching for it over again. Families can use Clipix to collate information for a school project, or plan their next family holiday or day out.
​Activities to try at home

1) Chose a topic the children are learning about at school, or something you'd like to find out more about as a family. Set up a clipboard, and challenge each family member to clip 5 sites about that topic. Then talk about which you chose and why, and what you can learn from each site.
2) Plan your next holiday by browsing the web for ideas as a family and clipping destinations, accommodation and activity ideas.
3) Each pick a favourite actress, musician or sports star. Find and clip a video, piece of audio (music, interview etc), picture and text (article etc) about that person. Use them to help share with your family why they're a favourite.
